The development of a new, compact, independent studio on a small Bungalow in a busy inner city Auckland suburban site.   The two level dwelling and gardens created a tranquil, independent workspace for the self-employed artist/designer couple, and independent guest accommodation when required.

The Common Ground design team developed a tight but extremely efficient buildings with traditional forms akin to the area, but with modern detailing – achieving a high quality outcome within the prescribed budgetary constraints.
